Below are descriptions of the classes that we typically offer throughout the year.

Basic grooming and some basic first aid may be taught. We train owners to have fun with their dogs while training. It’s the owner who trains the dog.

Intermediate Obedience
This class is intended for those who have good basic obedience skills, and are considering training for AKC Obedience and Rally  events.  The dog should have a good focus  on  the handler, know the basic sit, down, stand, stays/waits and on-lead heeling.

Intro to Rally/Obedience
This class is intended for those wishing to learn Novice rally signs while also working, learning, polishing, or increasing basic obedience skills. Obedience skills including loose lead heeling, sit, down, stay, come, and leave it will be taught while advancing to a higher level using Rally skill.

Examples may include - Sits or downs while walking around your dog. Sits or downs while leaving the dog in place, taking a few steps, then calling them to come, or doing moving sits/downs while heeling. Dogs will also practice heeling in figure 8 or clover patterns while leaving the distractions that have been placed out alone.

Rally Intermediate Workshop

This class is intented for people that have already been through Intro to Rally/Obedience or have previous Rally experience and have trained/trialed with their dog at the Novice level.
